Bandowned and Sunreamed

Purely Japanese disgust, mind you. (Oh, and for those worried about my last post, everything's fine now. Just a little misunderstanding that got cleared up.)

As I'm sure a lot of you know, I'm an extreme Gundophile. (I.e., lover of Gundam, specifically stuff within the AU universes) After putting much of my hard earned money into this franchise...this...is the way they show the love back to the states. As my friend, hell_cat86, so elegantly put it on the allspark forums...

Honestly, after the pitiful Toy Fair presentation this year... I feel stabbed. Like...for as much as the U.S. might care right now, Sunrise and Bandai Japan don't seem to care. Admittedly, I'm curious to see what the future will bring, especially with the group brought over to study the American market, right now... If it weren't for my love of Gundam, for an insult like this I might've been willing to just give up my collection here and now. But I don't...simply because of how much I enjoy the toys (and to an extent the kits) themselves. ...that, and wanting to see the rest of SDGF dubbed as well...if not for a bilingual release.

Prove me wrong, Bandai. Show me up, Sunrise. You've got a great property on your hands I'd love to support...and would love to continue supporting, and I'm sure many other fans feel the same way. And may that study group prove successful!

But please don't tease us... Don't make promises you can't come through on...
