Mecha Inspiration? Or just cool luck? ^_^
Feb. 2nd, 2008 11:47 pmCheck this out, guys. Regarding my computer cooling issues, I found an unusual solution. Try this on for size.
I turned my Microfly case exhaust fan into an intake fan (by merely turning it around and reversing the direction of airflow), and managed to lower my case temperatures by at least another 5 degrees Celcius, and I'm using my PSU as the sole exhaust fan. The idea came from the case I just posted about because it uses the PSU as the sole exhaust fan. So, therefore, if it could be used in that one, why not try it in my case? And lo and behold, IT WORKED.
Wild, huh? And it comes with the added benefit of cooling everything inside too, so I don't need to mod the case AT ALL or add any extra fans for better cooling. I just had to think...outside the box. ^_^
*feels proud of himself*
