For those of you that didn't know, Louisiana had a tax free holiday this past weekend, which I of course took advantage of seeing as I got paid on Friday. Of note, I got two things...
Norelco Bodygroom
Billy Blanks - Boot Camp Elite (Maker of Tae Bo)
My notes on both follow.
Firstly, the bodygroom. On my first run through, with the attachments, it's not exactly wht I had expected. It shines without the attachments, but the problem lies in the fact that if it's off, unless you literally intend to shave body hairs totally off, it comes out uneven. I just don't feel like I have the control I wish I could have with this thing. In addition, certain sensitive areas (at least for me) don't seem to respond very well to it, and I got several cuts while trying to use it there. Heck, part of the reason I got it was because it was supposed to be gentle, and instead, I find out my Phantom Power does a better job. Although, if I use that, I run out of the protective gel a lot sooner, and these razors do NOT come cheap.
(Yes, I now shave down there. The added sensitivity is more than worth it).
Also, on a whim, I bought the Boot Camp Elite from Barnes and Noble, figuring, if I wanna get a trimmer, sexier body, this could only help. And for $40, I couldn't beat it. Came with three DVDs and two spaghetti strap pulleys for your arms and legs.
And OMG, I am so out of shape. I can't even pull past the first 15 minutes. ...but then, that's Tae Bo for you. I mean, I can do heavy lifting and exercise that lasts a few minutes, but endurance training is SOOOO out of my league right now, and is what I desperately need. Well, that and more sleep, as I've been very bad about that these past few weeks. Granted, the exercise is very fun, and even though my knees hurt a little bit doing it, I pulled through what I could. Just...yow.
That, and I got some A-shirts so I can go for that added smexy look when I get all trimmed up. :3 I mean, if I'm really setting my mind out to do this, why not go the extra mile amirite? XD
We'll see where this goes though. Right now, I'm just pooped. Energized, but fatigued.
