This sore throat is no fun...
Mar. 18th, 2007 10:11 pmI'm on day three now of what seems to be like a really naggy bug. So far I've been taking Ibuprofin to lower any fever symptoms and aches mixed with Vitamin C supplements and cold medicine for my runny nose, congestion, and coughs.
*sniffle* Why won't you go away...
Mom says this bug has been going around, and she had it to varying degrees for two weeks. I sure hope that's not the case with me. <= ( Still, I'll be seeing my on campus doctor about this (rather than someone else at the moment, I've got a nice $1,150 bill over my head which lead to the wonderful injections, but that's another matter) tomorrow morning, so hopefully I'll get some light shed on just why this bug has latched on to me so tightly. Needless to say, it sucks. Especially since I've noticed today I've been sweating a lot easier when I'm sleeping under these covers, but that's just been today so far.
Otherwise, it's gotten me to playing Metroid Prime 2: Echoes during my downtime, and I'm enjoying how nice it is...except when you can't find save points and you get your @$$ handed to you by the local wildlife during a locked room fight in a new area. Ah well. Hopefully I'm not far behind where I was originally at.
