Have you ever had a time in your life..where you feel that the person you're with is exactly the person meant to be in your life, but you have no idea why?
......ok...maybe I might be alone in that regard. Coming from only two relationships, part of me questions if I know exactly what I want...if my guy is who I truly want to be with... And...I do. I don't question that part really... It's just...surreal. To think that the perfect guy in my life is sitting right before me, and I have no idea...well...why he fits me so well! ^_^;; And yet he does... So it just left me puzzled. How might be the best way to help this make sense for me?
First, I was just looking at his picture recently. Part of me yearns for a Symposium-ish similatity to my lover, but... Something felt missing. Something didn't jive. I kept thinking "other half". I kept thinking... "We should share more in common.." And then...the idea of the yin-yang popped into my head. Both sections are parts of the same whole, and are the same shape....and yet... One part is white. One part is black. Obviously they aren't totally the same...but they both coexist together as a common whole. So...I just applied this to my mate. I mean, I could even go further to say that each of us has a part that is similar to the other...this is the part that attracts and brings us together. (Which could also be the missing part of your soul...and why you feel complete when you're together with the other person.)
Such is the Yin-Yang Theory of Compatability. Again...this is only a theory...so I'm not saying just up and apply it to your current relationship. ^_^;; I just bring this up because it helped me understand yet another facet of my relationship with my mate...that although we are different, that we have some similarities, and because I feel that, yeah, this is the guy I'm meant to be with, the theory just helped me explain why he fits... Why he feels so perfect in my life...simply, why he's the guy.
I'm reminded of a quote from a song, "That the very thing you're looking for is the one thing you can't see.." And it's true. Sometimes I'll have questions about my relaitonship.. Things that, true, are relative and different for each person, but.. Sometimes it just takes a little digging for it all to make sense...simply because you can't see it yet, or understand why this or that is the way it is.
Though, having another piece of the puzzle to get a better picture? That's what makes it all worthwhile. =)
