If you are a fellow resident of Louisiana and feel the same way, click here to find links to your congressmen and women, and also how to contact them to voice your opinion. It's actually a lot easier than you'd think! Just be sure to be considerate and concise. They listen, but we need to speak to them and let them know how we feel. Senator Landrieu,
I want to thank you for voting against the Bailout package. After educating myself more on the issue, I feel compelled to agree that throwing money at Wall Street is not the best way to solve this financial crisis we are currently in.
An alternative to the bailout was recently proposed by Congressman Peter DeFazio of Oregon and Congresswoman Marcy Kaptur of Ohio. Please consider their "No BAILOUT Act" as a means of solving the crisis placed before us, the taxpayers. Congresswoman Kaptur also has a site with more information on their act, which can be found here:
